Special Skills, Licenses, and Certifications
Over the years, Dan has attended various "Home Tech" estimating, sales and contract writing workshops and seminars. His layout and design skills in general construction were self-taught; however, his art background was the formal additive. He holds a state of West Virginia general contractor's license, was trained as a Certified Home Inspector and is a registered "Pella" Certified Contractor (PCC). On-site manufacturer's training includes programs such as Basco Shower Doors, Malta Windows, and Woodmode Cabinetry.
Dan has also obtained both the State of Ohio Electrical and Plumbing licenses. In 2001, he received his "Certified Remodeler" (CR) certification from NARI, which is awarded for ethical standards of business practice and competency in performance of remodeling projects.
